A First Aid qualification is an element of BTC Registered Instructor accreditation.  If an instructor does not have a current first aid certificate, they should arrange to undertake a course at the earliest opportunity and provide a copy of their certificate to the BTC Course Tutor to update their BTC profile.

BTC Registered Instructor profiles should also display a recent head & shoulders TKD photograph and current personal and club contact details.

Please be advised:  BTC have implemented a new process for enrolment onto the Registered Instructor and Basic Safeguarding Awareness courses, digital ID verification and Enhanced DBS application:

  1. To book your place, please use the Stripe link below to pay for your course, £125, and complete the accompanying form.
  2. Go to the Accreditation tab and continue from Action 2 detailed on that webpage to select and initiate the relevant national vetting and barring checks by completing the form.

Steps 3 - 8 on the Accreditation tab explain the rest of the new process.

BTC Professional Indemnity Insurance is paid annually.  Please contact your BTC Member Organisation or BTC Administration in this regard.
