The dedication & hard work from all competitors, instructors & coaches was really apparent as we have returned home with 18 new World Champions & over 30 World medallists.
Full results have already been posted on the ITF website
As we celebrate these results I would also like to give appreciation & thanks to what can quite often be our unsung hero''s; Mr & Mrs Richards along with Mr McCabe who worked tirelessly as ITF Umpires, Miss Ashley Nicholls who not only did the organising & administration for Team UK but also a large part of the World Championships administration, the Chand team for transporting & supporting the scoring equipment & the Team UK coaching team that committed their time both before & during the Championships to assist our competitors.
Finally I would like to both thank & congratulate our UK ITF President Master Nicholls. Not only has he brought home a hugely successful team but was also awarded with many well deserved honours at this Championships; A promotion to Vice President of the ITF, presentation of the Choi family star & promotion to 9th Degree Grand Master Choi Trevor Nicholls. Fantastic achievements for his dedicated service to ITF Taekwon-do.
It was both an honour & a privilege to witness our teams success & the significant awards presented to our Instructor & UK ITF leader.
We will hope to keep the great effort & momentum going for our future International competitions in Moldova & then the UK in 2016, but look to our next big competition at the British in October.
Thanks to all that have contributed to the photo''s used in this article. If you have any photo''s or video''s that can be used in future articles & promotions so that we can continue to remember & relive our great experience, please can you share?
