Shaftesbury TKD finished the year with a fun lesson, Father Christmas is very busy this year, but he found a little space in his diary to come and pay a visit to the junior class with presents for everybody!!

2011 is almost here, and it is nice to look back over the past 12 months and reminisce over the competitions, gradings, seminars.. good or bad, pass or fail, medal or no medal – there’s plenty of time to improve your TaeKwon-Do, but the most important thing is wanting to be part of your TaeKwon-Do club.

The juniors shower their instructors with happiness, sadness, sickness, joy, tiredness, toilet visits, sore feet, memory loss, the list goes on – but each and every person on the junior line beams a smile that says “THANK YOU"

Students and instructors are seen at the forefront of the club, but a lot of credit must go to those who work behind the scenes - This year we have been lucky to have such a talented array of parents, some of them support, some of them join in, some of them drive hundreds of miles to get to TaeKwon-Do events. I hope all of you juniors thank your parents each time they bring you to TaeKwon-Do, without them none of this would be possible.

It would be nice if I could mention each and every member of our club, but I might miss someone out!

Thanks must go to my team of Black belts, who pave the way for the future, represent us at events, dedicate their time to teaching and furthering the club.. The highest compliment must go to my instructor, Mr JC Kelly, who after over 30 years of dedication to TKD, continues to inspire us every lesson.

Thanks also to the senior members of the Imperial / UK-ITF team who have supported and assisted our club over the past months, namely Mr Alasdair Walkinshaw, Dr Hayley Parker, Master Ian Lawes, Mr Mark Skyrme and of course Master Trevor Nicholls. I wish every TaeKwon-Do student, instructor, Master and supporter every success in the coming year, and would like to thank them for what they have already done.
