Today, Region 12 hosted an incredible sparring workshop, celebrating the 10th anniversary of our World Champions: Mr. McAvoy, Mr. Nicholls, Mr. Brunger, and Mr. Robertson! 🥇🥋
These prestigious instructors shared their expertise in an intense and dynamic session. Mr. Robertson kicked things off with conditioning and technique linking, while Mr. Brunger focused on distancing and effective counter-attacks. Mr. McAvoy emphasised assertiveness and body positioning whilst kicking, and Mr. Nicholls wrapped up the day by stressing the importance of fluidity and the right mindset in sparring.
It was an enriching experience for the students from Trenic, Dempsey TKD, Lone Wolf, and Robertsons M.A.
A huge thank you to our former world champions for dedicating their time and sharing their wisdom. This was a great opportunity to give back to UK ITF and help inspire the next generation of competitors.
