Region 7 students selected for Team UK

Congratulations to the three members of Stoke Gifford TKD that have been selected to form part of Team UK for the ITF World Championships in July this year.

Phoebe Grandfield has been selected for the adult power category.

Kieran McDermott has been selected for the U16''s Male 1st Degree patterns & Micro weight sparring.

Emily Oakes has been selected for U16''s Female 1st Degree patterns & Light weight sparring.

All three have followed the UK ITF talent pathway where they have to have met the required criteria to include regular club, regional & Team UK training along with British & English ranking points & accumulating in a top two position at the recent UK Championships.

The Region is extremely proud of all three gaining selection & would like to wish them the best of luck at the World Championships is Rome.
