Monday 6th April 2009 saw ITF Secretary General, 8th Degree Black Belt Master Trevor Nicholls, President of the Imperial TaeKwon-Do Association, formally welcome Blue Dragon TKD into the Imperial TKD fold. Accompanied by 6th Degree Black Belt Mr Mark Skyrme, both instructed and guided the class of 36 students ranging from white to black belt at Woodford Lodge Sports Centre.
A series of techniques including kicks, punches and blocks were taught, with both Master Nicholls and Mr Skyrme showing the true power that lies behind the kicks and strikes of TaeKwon-Do.
Everyone who took part gained massively from the experience of a lesson under one of the most senior and skilled TKD Masters on the planet, "There were so many smiles on everyones faces at the end, it was incredible" was the quote from one student.
A massive Blue Dragon thanks goes out to both Master Nicholls and Mr Skyrme, for a thoroughly enlightening event.
