A small contingent of Gurkha's travelled to compete in the National Chungdo Kwan Championship held on the 21st March 2009. Although few in number there indomitable spirit shone through to take them to overall 3rd Place. In total they won 14 Gold, 8 Silver and 5 Bronze.

For those of you don't know, Master Rai affiliated Sagarmatha TKD and the Gurkha regiment of soldiers to Imperial back in 2003. They practice both ITF and WTF Taekwon-Do and have gone from strength to strength over the past few years. We are very proud of there achievement and look forward to continuing our Taekwon-Do future.
Watch out for the new Imperial / Sagarmatha schools in Nepal.
