Hayley Parker (V Degree Black Belt) started training in Taekwon-do at the University of Hertfordshire in 1991. After 4 years Dr Parker became the Instructor at the University club. In 1999 Dr Parker transferred the club to GSK Stevenage fitness centre. The club is open to GSK employees and their families (call 07879427140 fo rmore details) and runs both the ProTKD and ITF Taekwon-do programs on Wednesday evenings.
In 2008 Dr Parker founded the Welwyn Garden City. This club is now taught by Mr Andrew Lawrence (II Degree Black Belt) one of Dr Parker's student Black Belts. The club runs on both Monday and Thursday evenings for both children and adult students. See the club webpage for more details or call 07530 284127.
Dr Parker has Competed, Umpired and Coached at National and International ITF tournaments and is a Class A umpire and International Instructor within the ITF. Within Imperial Taekwon-do Dr Parker is the Region 2 Director.
